Fount Society is a clean skincare brand and a subsidiary of Cozy Earth, focused on health-driven, ingredient-conscious skincare products.

As the technical lead on this project, I oversaw every aspect of the development process — from architecture and integrations to feature development and deployment. Nothing moves forward on the site without my involvement.

I was responsible for the entire technical direction of the site, and worked directly with the product manager to scope features, prioritize roadmap items, and ensure the build aligned with both business needs and long-term scalability.

I coordinated with junior developers to delegate scoped tasks, led code reviews, and ensured consistency.

The storefront is built with SvelteKit, TypeScript, and fully integrated with Shopify’s Headless API via GraphQL. The tech stack was chosen for its speed, flexibility, and ability to deliver a custom, content-rich experience with native Shopify reliability.

My Role & Contributions

• Built a custom skin questionnaire, enabling personalized product recommendations based on user input
• Architected a content-rich system using Shopify Metaobjects and Metafields to give the team extensive flexibility in managing landing pages, product pairings, usage guides, and educational content — all editable from within the Shopify Admin
• Implemented Shopify Functions with TypeScript to support custom logic around promotions, cart rules, and purchase flows
• Ensured strong frontend performance and accessibility, creating a scalable codebase tailored to a brand just starting its growth journey
• Maintained close collaboration with the product manager to translate business goals into stable, performant features — and acted as the single point of technical ownership across the project
